How You Can Help

Here are six things that you can do to help further marriage equality.

Donate Time or Money

Marriage is ours. If we are complacent or assume others will do the work or raise the money, we could lose this amazing opportunity at the next Constitutional Convention! We accept donations to cover the costs.

Talk to you Family and Friends

Many people think they don't know gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender people. If you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender, come out! Being out is the single most effective way to end discrimination against our community.

Talk to your Religious and Community Leaders

Many communities of faith are strong allies in freedom to marry issues. Contact the for more information.

Get Speakers from Freedom to Marry to speak in your area

We have who go to a variety of gatherings to speak on equal marriage rights.

Talk to Your Legislators

Call or visit your legislator, let him or her know you want our marriages and the families formed by them protected in Massachusetts. Encourage all family and friends to contact their legislators! Don't know who your legislators are, look them up at http://www.wheredoivotema.com/.
